Big Brother Season 11 Entry 5

I know it's been awhile since I've posted an entry, but know that I have watched every episode but one (it got taped over...)

I want to say that Tuesday, August 18th (my bday!) episode was one of THE BEST EVER!!!

wow, a jam packed crazy show. I want to also say that everyone who has been going home lately (the old guy in the banana costume, Ronnie, and Jessie) are all excellent candidates to get packing...which means the people I like are still in the show.

Next, what kind of craziness is Chima. And why did Big Brother choose to not show her refusal to participate throughout the competition. They truly protected her. I knew last week when she said she was going to have a talk with the producers because she felt Jeff told Jordan he was the coup d'etat, I knew she was a bit of a hot head and a threatener of power. But we had no idea about all the tissy fits she had caused. It was cool that we got to see the ins and outs of big brother. For instance...they let them Practice for the VETO??!??! They must always wear mikes?! They are told to go into the Diary Room throughout the day!? There is a woman producer?! and damaging equipment is the surefire way to be fired?!!? crazy stuff.

I liked Kevin tonight. Even though he's on the team I don't like, he's a good guy and kind of interesting. Apparently on the Live Feed, he got into a crazy fight with Ronnie. Why would the producers not want to show a fight that got pretty out of hand from what I heard. We never even saw Ronnie and Kevin talk so it would have been cool to see that fight. Also, a love connection between Chima and Russell? No wonder she was so goody goody with that team for no reason. And my how things have changed. She started to hate him. Again, why did the producers show the "love interest" before they were forced to, due to the Russell/Chima fight which on the live feed was about him saying something about a blanket for giving him a blow job. very interesting....

Who do I like?
Jeff and Jordan. He is AMAZING and she's a cutie. What's not to love?

Russell - he's an ass but overall i like him. just not when he goes crazy. i cant believe Michelle forgave him when he didnt even really think he did anything wrong.

Michelle - at first I didn't like her but now she's growing on me. She was very spunky tonight.

Kevin - he's on the wrong side but I can see him flip for his own good. I was shocked that he didn't save Lydia...but I must say, he played that card right for his future.

Who I don't like?

Lydia - my old favorite has turned wacko and homely. Maybe the new pink hair will help me to gain respect for her. But so far she is a whining lovesick child who talks smack but can't back it up.

Natalie - she is just a nasty thing. Everyone who I talk to can't stand her. Whats with the new hair pieces. Was that just a hat? and the Princess Leiah Rolls at the side of her head look during golfing (overall, what the hell were people wearing to golf. Some looked cute like Jeff but Russells polka dotted pants were a litle much.

Jordan made a great decision to put Lydia and Natalie up. Let's hope one of them goes home. Or are u up for the drama. we'll see...!!!

Big Brother Season 11 Entry 4

The show continues.

I must say I am not sad about Casey leaving, although he was fairly smart in predicting who the masterminds were, he was annoying and banana-shaped. :D

Jeff is still my favorite player by far and I hope he can win the show. Jordan is a cutie (not everyone is taught how to tell time so I felt for her) and Chima is still cool with me (although I don't remember her ever being in the alliance. When did that happen?)

Improvement Awards: Russell and Jessie
Jessie seems not quite as annoying this season. Maybe he is finally maturing as a man some. And Russell kept his promise and did not go after Jeff and Jordin so that was cool. Plus his family story was heart felt. I thought it odd that he was such a caucasian child in his pic. I wonder what ethnicity Russell is?

Losing Brownie Point Awards: Lydia
this once beautiful off-beat has turned into a yellow-shadowed racoon tanorexic. Why is she so crazy in her need to suck up to the head of household and why has she gotten so ugly in such a short amount of time. I think she is losing it.

as for the others:
Natalie is annoying..18, 24, who cares, she is still an idiot
Keven....he's not doing anything...at least he's got 5,000 dollars...why would you penalize him for that...spinning around would make me wanna throw up
the phd girl - if i dont know your name by mid-summer, you really need to go home
ronnie - one word: annoying.

best line of the week: Jordan saying "why are you looking at me?" at Ronnie who was smirking at her then stopped and shook his head and lied "I'm not." - PRICELESS!

best strategy of the week: Russell putting up Lydia and Ronnie...duke it out kids...duke it out!

Big Brother Season 11 Entry 3

Well tonight was Veto night. I have to say I was quite surprised that Ronny's plan to get Russell out backfired...only because Ronny decided not to do it. All that talk about it and then out of the blue...Jordan. just weird. I think he's playing a pretty good game actually but it's a little strange how he is blatently making enemies.

Jeff is probably my favorite right now. He seems like he could win it all if he plays smart.

Jessie isn't bothering me too much right now. Maybe cuz he doesn't have screen time.

Chima and Kevin were not doing anything but I still like them. Kevin hasn't done anything since the show first started. He will either be gone soon or be around for a long time.

the Phd girl must be napping all day.

What is wrong with Russell? He's so wacky the way he goes berserk all the time with no neck.

I still like Jordan. I don't feel too sorry for Laura. but she's a nice enough girl. I definitely want Jordan to stay over Laura though.

the old guy is still really annoying and I really hope he goes home next week.

I'm sure there is more people on the show but they probably don't do anything so I can't remember them...oh....Lydia...she is turning into a real cry baby. Im liking her less every episode. and her look was WAY OFF today.

well that's my opinions...catchya next time when someone will be going home..

overall...kind of boring episode today.

Big Brother 11 Entry 2

Here we are a full week into Big Brother and my second posting. So far I'm enjoying this season. The annoying characters of the first episode are growing on me a bit. Although I can tell that when it gets down to about 4 people, the show will become very boring as it has in years passed. Having 11 or 12 people all stuck in the house is always really fun...that's why I love the premise of this show.

I plan to update my feelings on the game and the characters. Braden went home and I haven't missed his 80s style as of yet. It was so Californian to go racist on Kevin who happens to be Black and Japanese and not Latino in the first place. What nonsense. Here's what I said last time..and this time.

Casey - he wasn't that bad...kind of dorky but he could end up being cool in the end. we'll see.
Casey is not a very likable guy. He's so strange and closed-minded. To me, there should be an actual group called NERDS and he would be in it. not a fan.

Chima - I'm not hatin, but she seems like she could get really annoying and might turn evil. again we'll see.
I'm LOVIN Chima...she has such a sassy diva personality and her outfit on eviction night was fierce...and those shoes. I love when she gets mad and just says anything. My new favorite character...but will it last?

Jeff - so far he seems boring but he might become likable.
Jeff is my favorite guy. Im not sure how well he is playing the game but it's possible he could sneak in and win. Definitely probably the most normal person on the show. a little dissapointed he chose the cheerleader in the game but it was as expected. he's pretty much a cad!

Jordan - she seems really boring and dumb.
I was wrong...well i mean she is dumb and she could be boring, but she is really sweet. I love when she got mad and really had it out with Lydia. I definitely like her.

Kevin - so far I like him. He is annoying but he doesn't annoy me...yet.
Poor Kevin isn't getting any screen time. Could he be an actually really nice guy. He certainly doesn't seem to playing the game which means he will probably be off the show sometime in August if not before. I'd like him to come out of his shell a bit and do something fun for prime time.

Laura - I do not like her...her boobs make her seem like she's 3 housemates
she is so expendable. send her home this week. she's not a bad person at all but just not someone i want to watch all summer. and I think she knows it.

Lydia - I love her! So far my favorite by a long shot..she is so beautiful. her personality might get old annoying after awhile though.
no longer my favorite but im glad she is on the show still. She's like a 17 year old brat who looks like a woman...she still has the BEST STYLE though. but maybe too much bronzer these days.

Michele - she's okay but she needs to stop talking about the fact that she is pretending to not have a phd. who cares....
she sure dresses slutty to be the brain. so far i like her, but like Kevin she doesn't get much screen time.

Natalie - so far this Mariah Carey look-a-like seems cool.
she's a little annoying...i noticed that when i rewatched episode one...but i still ain't hatin on her. she's pretty to boot. Is she biracial?

Ronnie - wow! total stereotypical nerd. wonder if he's in on the act. so far im not a fan but maybe he will change my mind.
so is he an actor who is just pretending to be a nerd. so strange. I think he's playing an okay game..he is definitely strategizing, but is he playing too hard? will it bite him in the butt eventually? why does he tell everything to every side...why put up one group to piss them off and then backdoor the other group...i dont get it.

Russell - he's so full of himself, but I'm not hatin' on him yet.
he is pretty darn annoying and has no neck. but i enjoy him on the show cuz he starts trouble...

Jesse - back on the show, as "jesse" as ever. he isnt bothering me too much but I am glad that he's losing a bit of weight so he doesn't look quite so bulky now.

there is the update. who will win power of veto...Jeff....Laura...or someone else?

btw the slop needs to go. if u are getting rid of food challenges (thank God) u can also get rid of slop. eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, that was more fun!

Big Brother 11 Entry 1

Well, it must be summer. Big Brother is underway and familiar face Jesse has returned to the big brother house. I've never been a big fan of him so it will be interesting what he brings to the show. Probably annoying is what he will bring.

Here is the my first opinion of the new crew. Before I begin I want to say that the there has been a lot of backlash about everyone being pretty much white and young. Worst of all, half of the housemates are from California, showing insight that they are wannabe starlets.

with that said, I was pleasantly surprised that some of the "white" housemates are actually mixed. We'll see if race becomes a factor on the show or not mentioned at all.

Braden - he looks really 80s and had nerdy shorts for being in the popular crew. not a fan so far.

Casey - he wasn't that bad...kind of dorky but he could end up being cool in the end. we'll see.

Chima - I'm not hatin, but she seems like she could get really annoying and might turn evil. again we'll see.

Jeff - so far he seems boring but he might become likable.

Jordan - she seems really boring and dumb.

Kevin - so far I like him. He is annoying but he doesn't annoy me...yet.

Laura - I do not like her...her boobs make her seem like she's 3 housemates

Lydia - I love her! So far my favorite by a long shot..she is so beautiful. her personality might get old annoying after awhile though.

Michele - she's okay but she needs to stop talking about the fact that she is pretending to not have a phd. who cares....

Natalie - so far this Mariah Carey look-a-like seems cool.

Ronnie - wow! total stereotypical nerd. wonder if he's in on the act. so far im not a fan but maybe he will change my mind.

Russell - he's so full of himself, but I'm not hatin' on him yet.

well that is the initial thoughts...could be a great season or a terrible one...i will say that so far i am noticing that the housemates are very similar to each other which means they could end up being pretty boring and/or annoying.

Shannon's Birthday at Todai!

It's called Todai for a reason...eating there means u are supposed TO DIE, TO DAY.  horrible food, but EXCELLENT company.  Happy Birthday Shannon.

American Idol - Top 11, Top 10, Top 9

I know...I haven't been keeping up on my American Idol blog.  This season is okay but I don't feel like I'm giving it the full attention that I did in years past.  Oh well here is an overdue and scaled down overview of the last 3 weeks.

Jasmine and Julio (was that his name?) were kicked out, giving us a Top 11 for Country Western night with Randy Travis.

Adam - Ring of Fire - this creepy sexualized snake-charmer version was actually a copycat version of a different group, but the judges wouldn't know that.  Although weird, I enjoyed the uniqueness.

Matt - Too Small - I thought this was a good but forgettable performance

Danny - Jesus Take the Wheel - I like the song but not his version.

Allison - Blame it On Your Heart - I liked this performance but she seems to always be uptempo rockish...i want her to slow it down and give a softer side.

Michael - Ain't Going Down Till The Sun Comes Up - Boring!

Lil - Independence Day - I love this song but it didn't quite work for her...still i  enjoyed it.

Scott - Wild Angels - I hated his version and the way he sang this song.

Megan - Walking After Midnight - she looked gorgeous and for once, I liked her.

Kris - Make You Feel My Love - I really enjoyed this...sooo good.

Anoop - You Were Always On My Mind - a surprisingly strong performance.  Very Good.

Alexis - Jolene - How could she have ruined this amazing Dolly song...the rendition was hideous.

TOP 3:  I choose Anoop, Kris, and Megan as the best this week
Bottom 3:  Alexis, Scott, and Michael were by far worse.

Who Went Home?  .... none other than poor Alexis for singing so horribly.

TOP 10 get to go on the tour.  It was Motown Night with Smokey Robinson and Diana Ross's old right hand man.

Matt - Let's get it on -  I really liked this performance but he is in no way my favorite...I would have rather he stayed at the piano the whole time and not show off his too large for his body thighs.

Kris - How Sweet It Is - I don't like this song but I thought he did a good performance.  What a weird shirt.

Scott - You Can't Hurry Love - as always he gave a very boring performance...im still not sure why he didn't go home the first week.  What is his following?

Megan - For Once In My Life - she looked cute but this was an absolute train wreck!

Anoop - Oooh Baby Baby - this was my favorite performance...the 50s lettermans jacket to the fanstastic vocals.  The judges were crazy  not to give this high scores.

Michael - Ain't Too Proud to Beg - What a horrible "cannot dance" growly performance.  Ive never liked this guy but am totally confused what he is doing on this show.  Totally out of his league.

Lil - Heat Wave - just okay this week..i expected more.

Adam - Tracks of my Tears - Elvis is in the house...his  performance was really terrific! and cute new look.

Danny - Get Ready - boring and awkward.  I don't get the fan base here.

Allison - Papa was a Rolling Stone - Very good but I'm waiting for the softer side of Allison.

Top 3:  Anoop, Adam, Matt
Bottom 3:  Michael, Scott, Megan

Who Went Home?  Michael Sarver. thank goodness....

TOP 9 - ITUNES - Singers' Choice

This could have been a very exciting show with all the possible choices.  Most idols stuck to traditional idol songs that have been sung over and over again.

Anoop - Caught Up by Usher - This could have gone soo well.  It certainly didn't.  Anoop lost some points for me and I think he's in trouble.

Megan - Turn Your Lights Down Low by Lauryn Hill - It had a cool vibe.  The judges thought it was a bad song choice.  I just found it boring.

Danny Gokey - What Hurts The Most by Rascal Flats - WOW!!!  Now I understand why he is in the competition...the best of the night by FAR!!!!!! this is an amazing song and an even more amazing performance...loved it...an Idol Moment.

Allison - Don't Speak by No Doubt - I love this song.  Her performance was just okay.  I dont know why the judges made fun of her clothes..she's 16...of course she is going to dress the part.  duh.

Scott - Just the Way You Are by Billy Joel - zzzzzzzz.......and his hair was silly, not better. Why is he on this show????!?!?!!?!?!?  soooooo boring.

Matt - You Found Me - I really liked this performance and am confused why the judges didn't.  they say Adam is the most current...i don't believe that at all.  Matt is the most current by a long mile.

Lil - I surrender by Celine Dion - Again I love this song and Lil really sang it with a strong voice.  The problem is that she didn't do anything with her voice but just belt in an alto.  When Kelly made an idol moment with this song she sang the shit out of it...i wouldnt have chosen a song that already gave one of the best idols her biggest moment of the season.

Adam - Play that Funky Music by Wild Cherry - Kind of boring and why does he still have his Elvis hair..that should have been for a one night only performance.

Kris  - Aint No Sunshine by Bill Withers - The judges LOVED this..I liked it.  It didnt hold my attention but it was certainly better than some tonight.

TOP 3:  Matt!, Matt, Kris (boy the boys seem to really be outshining this season and outnumbering!)
Bottom 3:  Megan, Scott, Anoop (sorry Anoop but tonight was baaad).

who will go home is anyone's guess...hope it's Scott.  Thanks for reading this long.  I'll try to be better next week!

American Idol - Top 13

The first night of real competition...the top 13.  Tonight was Michael Jackson night and just like in school, I graded the contestants from an A to F.

Lil Rounds:  First time I've ever seen her.  I loved her outfit and her interpretation of the song.  A

Scott McEntire:  Another first time seeing him perform.  I thought he was a good singer and pianist but he kind of bored me a bit...a little Elton Johnish.  B-

Danny Gokey:  I'm still not seeing what people see.  He's Robert Downey Jr. to me.  His singing was good but that dancing was hideous.  B

Michael Starver:  This was almost unbearable to watch because a. i was on the phone and b. he's so boring and over dramatic.  C

Kris Allen:  He really impressed me tonight...very excited about that performance.  A

Jasmine:  Just kind of so-so good.  B

Allison Iraneta:  I love this lil' Kelly Clarkson.  I did notice her lack of range though.  A-

Anoop Desai:  I thought he did really good but the judges weren't impressed at all.  I'll move him down to a B as well.

Jorge:  First time seeing him...it wasn't bad but it wasn't good.  C

Megan:  I normally can't stand her but this time she was really flirty and funny.  I was mildly impressed.  B+

Adam:  this was WAY too over the top..i can't believe the judges loved it.  B+

Matt:  I loved the Justin Timberlake vibe but his vocals were not the best.  B+

Alexis:  Im really love this girl's look, style, and voice...way better than what the judges told her.  A.

my top 3 are:

Lil, Cris, and Alexis.

I believe Jorge or Michael may go home, but Anoop could possibly go instead.

My Bedroom - REVAMPED

This is where my bed used to be
This is where my computer desk and file used to be
The piano was farther down and the bed's endtable was by the window as well as some storage bins.  It was kind of messy in this area before.
My new "art" - stylish elite young people living in New York
my closet is the same
dolls view 1
dolls view 2
dolls view 3
monkey!
my paper dolls, artwork, and photo albums

As much as I love my new apartment, I've been really disappointed with my bedroom.  I couldn't not keep it clean and it felt too long and and unorganized..and the placement of my bed was annoying me...not to mention my keyboard wasn't working, making me think I'd have to throw the t hing away.  Fast forward to spending Friday night redux-ing and now I love it.  Keyboard works, bed is like a day bed...and there are fabulous photos on the wall...and all the unorganized parts are all against one wall so it keeps a "look" rather than a mess.  I still need a new desk (my old one broke) but am excited to unveil my new room (I've been laying in bed on the computer most of the day...something I'm not used to doing and certainly couldn't have done that before...

American Idol Recap - Group 2,3, & Wild Card - Top 13

American Idol Group 2, 3, and Wild Card

I haven't been able to keep up on my American Idol blog so I'll catch up on this one.

Group 2 (in no particular order)

Megan - I didn't get to see her sing until the recap but this beauty did a good job with "Love Song".  The judges said it wasn't her style.

Jeanine - I have no memory of this girl who apparently sang "This Love"

Kris - I thought his performance of "man in the mirror" was okay, but I didn't expect him to win on more than looks.

Matt Giraud - I heard that he was really good but I felt his performance of "Viva La Viva" was boring.

Kai - I had high hopes for Kai but "What Becomes of the Broken Hearted was super cheesy.

Adam - This black haired gay rocker did a wonderful if not over the top performance of "I can't Get no...Satisfaction"

Nick - "And I am telling you" is this some kind of a joke?  I did not understand a comedy performance on American Idol.  I actually thought it was a bad singer coming back for entertainment...until i saw the phone number at the bottom of the screen.

Matt Breitzke - "If u could only see" how horrible this performance was...what a boring guy.

Megan - This "put your records on" singer was quirky in a bad way...send her home!

Mishovanna - She sang "drops of jupiter".  It wasn't bad but it didn't stand out.

Jesse - She sang "Betty Davis Eyes".  Not only was she horrible but she wouldn't shut up.

Allison - She sang "Alone" and made me think i was watching Kelly Clarkson all over again...absolutely superb!

My top 3 are:
Megan, Adam, and Allison

The 3 that made it were:  Adam, Kris, and Allison

On the next night I thought Adam and Matt sang really good together.  I'm hoping Matt makes the wildcard show.

Group 3

Unfortunately I did not see much of this episode, but I can recap as best as I can by telling u who is in and who it out.

Lil - In
Ariana - out
Taylor - out
Alex - Out
Kendell -  out
Scott - In
Nathaniel  - Out
Kristen - Out
Alicia - Out
Von - Out

the black guy - out

I was VERY  happy to see Matt, Jasmine, and Anoop make it.
